This is Penson.
Penson is the grandson of our trusty security guard, Victor. Victor salutes us each morning with a big grin on his face as we come in the factory gate. Plus, he calls me “Madame.” How can you not love that?
So we are pleased as punch the first day Victor has his grandson at the factory with him. Penson, however, is terrified. He cries and hides behind his grandpa. “He’s never seen a white,” explains Victor.
Victor tries to get Penson to greet us, but Penson will not even look at us. And he won’t wave at Obed if he’s with us. After a few days of this, Jeff brings out a small squishy ball from some donations left behind in our office. Penson runs away into the small security shed where Victor sleeps.
